Agnieszka Śnieżko and Rafał Witek took part in the 44th Seminar of Patent Attorneys for Higher Education Institutions in Cedzyna
The 44th Seminar of Patent Attorneys for Higher Education Institutions took place in Cedzyna from September 22nd to 26th, 2025. This year’s theme was “Directions of Intellectual Property Development – New Challenges.” The event was held under the patronage of the President of the Polish Patent Office and the Rector of the Jagiellonian University. It included lectures by academics, practitioners, judges, and experts from the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
WTS Patent Attorneys was represented at the seminar by its partners, Agnieszka Śnieżko and Rafał Witek. Rafał Witek was among the participants in the panel discussion entitled “What’s Still Ahead? Current Changes and Existing Challenges in IP Legislation in the Polish Legal System.”
The lectures and panel discussions included in the seminar program, as well as behind-the-scenes discussions and meetings in smaller groups, provided a valuable source of knowledge about the latest trends in IP.
Additional attractions planned by the organizers: a visit to the Świętokrzyski Laboratory Campus of the Medical University of Lublin, trips to Szydłów and Staszów, meetings with representatives of the media and local entrepreneurship, as well as shared meals and walks around the area, have facilitated the integration of participants.
