Agnieszka Śnieżko attended the ECTA conference in Dublin
From 17 to 19 June, the ECTA conference took place in Dublin, with Agnieszka Sniezko participating in the event.
The 44th edition of the conference opened with a workshop devoted to the increasingly prominent topic of mediation in the field of IP. Subsequent presentations dealt with, among other things, new trends in professions related to the protection of intellectual property rights.
The first day of the conference concluded with a gathering of participants at the atmospheric restaurant Cafe en Seine.
The second day of the conference focused, among other topics, on cooperation between the private and public sectors in the area of IP, as well as on the commercialization of innovative solutions. One of the discussion panels was also dedicated to the legal aspects of marketing so-called “dupes” — cheaper alternatives to well-known products which, unlike counterfeits, do not imitate the original or bear misleading markings. The trade in such products represents another threat to the interests of intellectual property rights holders.
In the evening, conference participants were invited by the organizers to the Guinness Storehouse.
