On the 8th and 9th of September, the 11. edition of the conference “Corrugated Cardboard: the Newest Technologies” took place in Szczyrk. The event was organized by the publishing house Polski Drukarz LLC.

Our firm was represented there by patent attorneys Katarzyna Kwestarz and Anna Szajna. Throughout the conference Katarzyna and Anna offered free legal counsel on matters related to the protection of industrial property, providing participants with answers to their numerous questions. 

A rich program of the conference introduced participants to various aspects of the manufacturing of corrugated cardboard and packages made of corrugated cardboard: starting from trends in the packaging market, through the newest solutions and materials used in the manufacturing, to issues concerning the legal protection of products. 

Katarzyna Kwestarz was among the speakers. She delivered a lecture entitled “The possibilities of the legal protection of products obtained from corrugated cardboard” during which she elaborated on her observations presented in her earlier article. The article was published in The World of Packaging and Labels — trends, prospects, challenges, a special issue of the magazine The World of Printing.
