“Trends in the Life Sciences Sector – Polish and German Perspectives” seminar
On September 29, a seminar titled “Trends in the Life Sciences Sector – Polish and German Perspectives” was held in Warsaw.
The event was organized by DBS, together with the WTS Patent Attorneys and TIGGES Rechtsanwälte.
Representatives from the worlds of science, business, and law participated, discussing topics such as the differences between Polish and German institutions and regulations governing the drugs and medical products market, as well as new challenges that it is facing.
We would like to once again thank the DBS for the invitation and both firms mentioned above for their fruitful cooperation.
Our thanks and appreciation also go to the moderator, Mariusz Kowalski, partner and founder of Waterwalk Partners.
Two of our law firm’s partners were among the speakers: Agnieszka Śnieżko introduced the participants to the obstacles to obtaining and maintaining trademark protection, while Rafał Witek gave a presentation on patent invalidation.
Also participating in the seminar from WTS were the firm’s partners, Dr. Anna Gdula and Anna Rożkowicz, as well as Dr. Beata Madej, a specialist in legal and administrative proceedings.
The seminar received excellent reviews from its participants and proved to be a huge success in terms of attendance, demonstrating the keen interest generated by current trends in the life sciences sector.
